Welcome to the Kontiki Guest House in Jomtien Beach
Thailand Our house is situated only a short walk from the clean beach of Hat Jomtien in a quiet side street off the main beach road. Jomtien is the much more relaxed and calmer sister of Pattaya. Here you will find clean beaches in a tropical climate all year round. Many restaurants, some pubs and all kinds of shops will cater for everything you may need. It is the ideal place to stay for a relaxing holiday. However, if you should wish for some nightlife action, you are only a few minutes away from the heart of the famous Pattaya club and bar scene. Our rooms are kept very clean. All of them are air-conditioned and well equipped with a big comfortable double bed, a good sized modern bath room, a TV set with international cable programs and a fridge. Wireless high speed internet access is also available in all rooms. The rooms with balcony have chairs and a dining table outside. Besides sunbathing Jomtien has a variety of activities to offer. For example you can hire a boat to explore the surrounding sea and island world just off the beach. Snorkeling, diving, fishing and sailing are only some of the activities on offer. Just outside Jomtien there are some of the best golf grounds of south east asia where you can play in a wonderful tropical setting for very affordable rates. We are always happy to assist you in finding and planning your activities, just ask us. How to get there: Bangkok airport (Suvarnabhumi) is only a one hour drive away. A taxi from the airport will cost you about 1000 Bath (~25 Euro). Alternatively you can take a bus from the airport to Pattaya/Jomtien for about 240 Baht.
